Imports of poultry products from Hungary were the most plausible cause of bird flu say the UK Government.
With around 160,000 turkeys slaughtered after the outbreak of the deadly H5N1 virus at a Suffolk turkey farm the UK government has said “Imports of poultry products from Hungary were the “most plausible” cause of the outbreak of bird flu at a Suffolk turkey farm” and also that “it was highly unlikely the outbreak was caused by wild birds” (read more…)
