We have heard of lots of talk that the internet will slow down because of the video streaming and download revolution, but according to a study released Wednesday by Adams Media Research this will happen and be bigger than many may think (lets hope the web does not break).
Annual consumer spending on Internet downloads of movies and TV shows is said to be set to explode over the coming years to $4 billion in 2011 from just $111 million in 2006.
Adams Media Research President Tom Adams has said “The Internet is going to revolutionize the distribution of video”.
