Virtual-reality worlds like Second Life are becoming more and more popular and one question buzzing around is: Do virtual-reality worlds such as Second Life have healing powers?
Many have said that these Online environments distract people from what goes on in the real world, but what if these online video games really did help real-life maladies ranging from cerebral palsy to post-traumatic stress.
Researchers at the University of Southern California’s Institute for Creative Technologies are studying whether a video-game version of Iraq can help returning veterans cope better with post-traumatic stress disorder.
In time these results will be interesting to see.

    To hear news like this is even better and will also create more hype towards virtual-reality worlds and online gaming.
